Businessman Kurtis Pierce of Pierce Technology was selected as the Conservative Party vice presidential nominee.

Businessman Kurtis Pierce was selected by the Conservative National Committee and Rick Canth, the presidential nominee, to be the vice presidential nominee for the Conservative Party. Mr. Pierce is currently CEO and President of Pierce Technology, a company known for modernizing Panem’s technology. The logo of Pierce Tech can be seen anywhere from computers to ATMs.

Pierce is the first vice presidential nominee to come from outside of politics. He also holds the distinction of finalizing the Conservative Party’s ticket, making the party the first to do so this election. Pierce also finalizes the first all-male ticket in a presidential and VP election. This poll was taken after the news was released:

Out of the current four parties, Liberty, Labor, Civic, and Conservative, which are you most likely to vote for in the upcoming elections for President and VP?

Liberty – 29 percent

Conservative – 27 percent

Labor – 22 percent

Civic – 22 percent

The poll shows that Liberty Party still maintains its electoral edge, but it has severely diminished without President Katniss Everdeen at the top of the ballot. Meanwhile, the new Conservative Party is gaining heavily where Liberty is losing ground.
