Here we will keep track of primaries won by candidates in the race for nominations in the upcoming presidential and vice presidential election. The nominations of a presidential slot and vice presidential slot are determined by delegates that are won by winning primaries. Presidential candidates must have at least 700 delegates to win their party nomination, while vice presidential candidates must have 500. If neither nominee can ascertain their win before the convention, the contest will be deemed brokered, which may result in the lesser of the candidates winning the nomination, the greater of the candidates winning the nomination, or even a candidate that did not run winning the nomination.
