Liberty Party polling released

Another poll for the Liberty Party presidential and VP nomination races has been released. The VP debate did have an effect on the polls, and campaigning by presidential candidates has changed the presidential polls as well.

Voters were polled on the following questions:

  • Out of the following candidates, who would you support for the Liberty Party presidential nomination: Rosalie Descoteaux, Gale Hawthorne, Peeta Mellark, Amy Oaksmith, Celine Oswald, or Dale Wilson?
  • Out of the following candidates, who would you support for the Liberty Party vice presidential nomination: Trenton Escavel, Jonathan Madison, Rebecca Tarson, Bella Taylor, or Alexandra West?

The results for the presidential poll are as follows:

Out of the following candidates, who would you support for the Liberty Party presidential nomination: Rosalie Descoteaux, Gale Hawthorne, Peeta Mellark, Amy Oaksmith, Celine Oswald, or Dale Wilson?

Amy Oaksmith – 21 percent

Peeta Mellark – 20 percent

Dale Wilson – 19 percent

Rosalie Descoteaux – 16 percent

Celine Oswald – 8 percent

Gale Hawthorne – 4 percent

Undecided – 12 percent

From this, we can tell that voters are warming up to Gov. Oaksmith and Sen. Mellark. Gov. Descoteaux could soon be rising to the top tier of candidates, showing just how fluid the race is at this point. Vice Pres. Wilson is going to have to fight for this nomination after all, and despite her best efforts, former VP Oswald isn’t going to make a comeback right now. Voters need to see her correct the errors of the last debate before she can reenter the top tier.

Out of the following candidates, who would you support for the Liberty Party vice presidential nomination: Trenton Escavel, Jonathan Madison, Rebecca Tarson, Bella Taylor, or Alexandra West?

Jonathan Madison – 30 percent

Alexandra West – 20 percent

Trenton Escavel – 18 percent

Rebecca Tarson – 16 percent

Bella Taylor – 5 percent

Undecided – 11 percent

Sec. Madison has officially created a front-runner status for himself through his success at the last debate. Sen. West has a lot of work to do to catch up; Madison is now ten points ahead, which isn’t a small amount by any standard. There was a clear drop for Gov. Taylor, who is now in last place, fighting for air. Govs. Tarson and Escavel have begun a fight with Sen. West, who isn’t just fighting for first place but also second place now.
