BREAKING: Vice President Dale Wilson, the Liberty Party leader, along with President Rick Canth, the Conservative Party leader, gave a press conference regarding the recent elections to the House of Representatives.
“Though we both wished to have control to bring our policies to the citizens of Panem, it is the decision of the Liberty and Conservative Parties to spare the nation of Panem of the crisis that could ensue through minority governments and another election. Thus, we have decided a national unity government would be the best solution in order to avoid such a crisis.” — Vice President Dale Wilson (Liberty-D4)
In response, the Labor Party issued the following statement:
“We did not wish to spark a national crisis through refusing to form a coalition with these two parties. We simply could not ensure the welfare of Panem through an agreement, hence the decision that was made. We welcome this national unity government, but we will form an opposition.”
The Civic Party responded as such:
“Since an opposition will be formed, we will join the Labor Party in the creation of the opposition.”
The new Centre Party issued their first statement:
“We are grateful to the people of Panem for entrusting us with these positions and we will seek to serve Panem. In order to do this effectively, we must join with the national unity government to succeed in our promised goals.”
Newly-elected Valentin Avilov, the sole independent representative, issued the following statement:
“Thank you for your trust, and with this trust, I will join the national unity government to best represent my constituents.”
After these developments, the following are the actual composition and then the coalition composition.
