The results are flying in from all directions for the primary elections today. Primaries were held in Districts 3, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13. Instead of wasting time announcing that President Everdeen has won a primary or that presumptive Labor nominee for VP Joan Kindred has won a primary, we will not report on them. Also, we will not put summaries in like the District 4 primary, only a name and the districts they carried.
Labor – President
Senator Ophelie Murray – Districts 3, 5, 9, 11
Governor Thomas Stemp – Districts 8, 10, 12, 13
People for Panem – President
Senator Sandra Morrison – Districts 3, 5, 8, 10, 12, 13
Governor Roald Umphrey – Districts 9 and 11
People for Panem – Vice President
Representative Sextimus Dalton – Districts 3 and 5
District 6 Attorney General Reyna Fults – Districts 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13
Liberty Party – Vice President
Governor Gale Hawthorne – Districts 3 and 12
Governor Dale Wilson – No districts were carried.
Governor Amy Oaksmith – District 8
Secretary of State Celine Oswald – Districts 9, 10, 13
Secretary of Defense Jonathan Madison – Districts 5 and 11
Labor Party president results indicate a dead split for the nomination now, and could result in a brokered convention that may spit out a nominee that wasn’t even running.
People for Panem president results indicate a major tilt for Senator Morrison. It seems that she is going to be the People for Panem nominee.
People for Panem vice president results clearly show that Sextimus Dalton will not win the nomination over District 6 Attorney General Reyna Fults.
Liberty Party vice president results show a comeback for both Governor Gale Hawthorne and most certainly for Sec. of State Celine Oswald. Dale Wilson underperforms tremendously and should exit the race soon. Amy Oaksmith also only gained one victory and may exit as well. However, Sec. of Defense Jonathan Madison continues to be a top contender.
